Visual Communications Design for Social and Policy Impact
My communications design work spans tech policy, development research, judicial reform, legal awareness, disability advocacy, gender rights, circular economies, science communications, wellbeing services, education initiatives, and performing arts.
If you have a story about your organization —the cause you are furthering, the work you are doing, the impact you have had— and want to tell it to funders, academia, students, policy makers, government bodies, international organizations, or even the general public, I can help you deliver the right message with the right visuals so your impactful work gets the recognition it deserves.
Greetings! My name is Indu Manohar (she/her).
I'm a visual communications designer and brand strategist with a background in theatre. I enjoy taking complex, niche, and information-heavy ideas and conveying them to diverse audiences in friendly, accessible, credible, and engaging formats.
I’ve worked for almost a decade with small businesses, social enterprises, and non-profits with digital communications, information design, brand building and storytelling. My hybrid, remote, and in-person roles have been as diverse as in-house designer, agency employee, independent freelancer, contracted consultant, and cofounder.
My work takes the form of websites, long-form reports, micro-sites, illustrations, infographics, social media campaigns, animated gifs, brand identities, print collaterals, user experience flows, and more.
