User Customer Audience People Experience Design
People are people first.
Their roles may change depending on how they relate to other people through different mediums. Sometimes people are users, interacting with a digital interface. Sometimes they are customers, engaging with printed packaging. Sometimes they are a client being presented with an idea. Sometimes they are audience members moved by a story.
No matter who they are, people always need design to communicate an idea, solve a problem, or take them on a journey.
I design experiences across different media for diverse people.
Here are some of the different disciplines of design I work with.
Identity Design
Communication Design
Digital Interface Design
Information Design
Live Event Design
My Diverse Education Qualifications Skills Experiences
I started my career as a physics major, then as a theatre maker, then as a scuba diver, then as a dancer, before finally finding a home in the endlessly prismatic field of design.
As a freelance designer I’ve learned how to work on my own initiative and directly with the client. As remote employee I understand how to work within a structure and with a team based in different cities. Balancing freelancing and employment has taught me about discipline, setting expectations, and knowing my own limitations.
I have worked with all kinds of people in both India and the USA. From adults, middle schoolers, employers with disabilities, and foreign language speakers, to students, artists, corporates, marine researchers, entrepreneurs, and tourists. I have a unique multicultural and multidisciplinary insight, which informs my design process.
Whatever your needs, be it brand storytelling, an event design, a website design, or a genre-bending amalgamation, I will bring my communication skills, design expertise and diverse life experiences to provide the best possible solution. I look forward to building lasting relationships with other people doing challenging and meaningful work.
